Okay, after I do angst I do something really 'fluffy'...which is so odd for this pair. And while I do have a great love for this pair I mostly enjoy a lot of angst,suspicsion, and darker themes...even though there is so very little of even that, to go along with their long and complicated history. (And I'm I the only one that finds it ironic that the bridge that connects Narva to Ivanogrod is called The Friendship bridge? Awkward...)

But anyway as for my own headcanon when you look at their shared history and how the nations tend to interact with each other even today I feel that in the hetalia world Ivan may have some sort of curiousity or other hidden feelings (interpret this however you may) towards the Baltic, considering that even though there is some fear on Estonia's part towards Ivan (in real life they kinda freaked out when they found out about France selling Russia weapons) he'll speak his mind and tell the larger off, even fight back when need to. I don't know, this pair just makes me happy all around...

But enough of my babbling, please comment or fav if you like!

(Also with the title the Swallow is the national bird of Estonia, while Russia has been described as the bear of europe, I don't know how that title is seen today, if its a good thing or a bad thin if its meant as offensive then I'll probably change the title... )
