I tried this recipe, like I promised. And although I'm not fond of avocados, but I must admit my eyes went reeaally watery with happiness at the first spoonful. T_T

The dessert was really great, but now I've got too much coffee syrup xD
By the way, I think I messed something up with the agar. My dessert was still very cream-like, I think it didn't set properly. Do you have any tips?

LOL, I guess I didn't gauge the amount of coffee syrup needed for the pudding properly. Ah well
I say screw the agar and replace it with gelatin - agar can be so temperamental sometimes, but if you still want to use it then I suggest doubling the amount

Right, sooo.... besides the fact I'm not fond of avocado, and eating it with coffee, let alone in a dessert seems reaaaally weird to me... I've definitely got to try this

I really like to try out weird pairings like this. Ever tried to mix cucumber and vanilla? I ordered a cucumber and vanilla milkshake at a restaurant in Paris once and it was just wow.. I tried to recreate it, but never got it as smooth as the original though... Are you any good at making milkshakes?

...I think you just involuntarily made a food-wish. Expect this flavor pairing to make an appearance on the blog! And although I can't quite say that my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, I do own a rather bad-ass liquidizer/blender
