Probably my favourite part of devons south coast, between bantham beach and thurelstone [link]Although this particular sunset was not what i was after i am determined to nail this shot tide and weather permitting.
Its looking as if we may get some good weather in September, a welcome releif for UK landscape photographers no doubt.
p.s its funny this shot seems quite popular when i wasnt even going to submit it!... maybe some of the many i ponder on submitting will now make it here....

I don't know what to say. Normally I am not at a loss for words but this photo stirs so many emotions inside of me I can't settle on one.

This is really nice. I love the detail you have here. All the little stones and pools of water. It reminds me of the coast where I live (in california). Love the texture of the rocks.

I like it Steve, good colour pallette, composition and processing. I need to get to the Devon coast now that I can drive. I am also looking for locations/areas nearer to Bristol than Dartmoor. Any ideas?

as for locations im sure your best bet from there is into wales, the gower is not really that far and its some of the best coastline in the country,

it is indeed mark, such a great spot, i managed to get the shot at the weekend that has made the endless trips to this part of the coast now worthwhile..

Having a kayak is a god send sometimes.
Mine is an inflatable though so some of these rocky shores scare me.
