Description Patchstripe
⤷ Meaning: Patch- for her patched appearance, -stripe for the clear tabby markings on her coat

Female (She/her)
⤷ AFAB

FireClan
⤷ Warrior, 27 moons [Jan 3, 2019]

History

⤷ Kit
Though she was born with two brothers, Patchkit was the only one to survive. It was saddening for her parents, but they neither neglected nor spoiled their only surviving kit. Fallow- and Name- raised Patchkit hoping she would grow up well-rounded, and not fall under Gracklestar's hateful reign. Patchkit grew up listening to her mothers sing to each other, and learning to appreciate love. She was a bit of a wild child, with energy to spare, not even slowing down when her firebending manifested before her apprenticeship, nearly burning down the nursery in her excitement at the sparks she could form between her teeth.

⤷ Apprentice
Luckily, one of the first things her mentor, her mother Name-, taught Patchpaw was control. Even despite Name's own enthusiasm and impatience, or maybe because of it, Patchpaw learned how to be patient and careful with her firebending quickly. She would often pester Palebelly, a friend of her parents that they called "cousin", asking them to teach her, but it usually just ended up being play for fun, like chase games and 'hunting' each other. To her mothers' joy, Patchpaw seemed to keep up well in most subjects she learned. Though she didn't excel in any particular skill, she didn't fall far behind in any, either, except swimming. She'd panicked the first time she reached her belly in a deep puddle, and refused to go anywhere near water she couldn't see the bottom of since.

⤷ Warrior
The night of her warrior ceremony, Patchstripe sat vigil, guarding the camp by herself. The next morning, after a nap, she sought out anyone, anyone to talk to. She was so bored the night before! Left to her own devices, but stuck in one place, unable to even sing or hum, she realized that she found isolation unbearable. Old enough now to think for herself and make informed opinions, she really hated Gracklestar. He'd hurt Palebelly, publicly, over their relationship with Wolfstone, and ceaselessly bad-talked the other three clans. His lack of balance lost any shred of loyalty Patchstripe might have once held for him. When he died, and Palestar mentioned starting the gatherings again, Patchstripe was excited. She would finally get to meet other cats outside of border skirmishes!

Personality
⤷ Passionate, stubborn, opinionated, eager, energetic, social, playful
Sharing traits with both of her parents, and gaining more as she grew, Patchstripe is passionate as any FireClan cat. However, along with her passion, she's not quick to change her stance on anything, and she'll argue her opinions and defend them to anyone who tries to change how she sees things. While she learned patience and control, Patchstripe never grew out of her get-up-and-go attitude, and she doesn't like to wait for patrols to form, or for storms to pass. When she can't use her energy on warrior tasks like hunting and patrolling, she turns to her clanmates for a chat or a shared grooming. With the younger cats, or warriors that aren't too prim and proper, she'll initiate games; she enjoys having other cats to burn energy with, and it gives her a chance to improve her skills and help her clanmates improve theirs.

Relationship log
Fallow.... - Nurse mother
⤷ Patchstripe has a good relationship with her nurseparent, making sure to sit with her at least every couple days, if not multiple times a day.

Name - Mother, mentor
⤷ Patchstripe definitely takes after her mentor more than her nurseparent. In some ways, this solidifies their relationship, like when they can sing and dance together. On the downside, they're both very opinionated, and when they disagree on something, they may end up arguing and not talking to each other for days at a time. Patchstripe still loves her mother, though, even when they do disagree.

Palestar - "cousin"
⤷ The leader was friends with Patchstripe's mothers long before she was born. She respects them, both as a cat and as a leader. When she was an apprentice, Patchstripe often played games with Palebelly. She has sympathy for them, and thinks Gracklestar was awful for treating his kid like that.
