I actually had a Shiny Cleffa from Crystal, but I lost it after my save file died... I did hatch a new one in Pokémon GO, thankfully, and now she's a Clefable.

Augh! I guess I could consider myself lucky to have not found a shiny pre-gen III. Actually, tbh I didn't even know what shinies were until late Gen III. xD

Hells yeah! And you could always move it into Let's Go or SwSh if you ever wanted to.

I actually have a Shiny Moltres I got from the Research Tasks on GO, but I won't be able to play with it on Sword or Shield because it's not in the Galar PokéDex, so it's stuck in Let's Go Pikachu...bummer!
