I don't care for Pokemon, but you still did an awesome job. I like how you gave Gyarados a more realistic look, aside to it's animeish look it has in the cartoons.

ah, the great Gyarados, i remember my younger days with my fantastic pokemon blue and silver. The dream of catching all the pokemon still lives, but with a slight glimmer. I still wish i caught that dang red Gyarados! Stupid pokeballs!

His body looks more fleshy than scaly, and his head is sorta... more round than pointed. (But what gives me the right to critisize? I can't even draw a Ditto)

Looks really nice, as always! I like what you did with the texture of the rough back and smooth belly. The colored eyes also add a lot of life to the drawing, as well as the coloring and the shading.

Holy eff. If I didn't already know it was a crazy siezure inducing cartoon from Japan, I'd think Pokemon were real by the way you amazingly portray them. But dude. Sastrei. You managed to incorporate that kick ass fish mouth AND all his dragon characteristics. The teeth are sharp and even, rather than sporadic and all over the place. Niiiice. I like how in your pencil drawings you always color the eyes. Really gives the piece life.
