Life back in my world was never the best life I had.
I never knew my parents, I lived in an orphanage, I lost my "sis" Ellone from that place.

I was alone in that world, until I met the love of my life...or so I thought.
Rinoa was a beautiful girl, and I couldn't believe I would ever meet a girl like that.
Her ex-boyfriend, the name of a man I hope to never hear again, was Seifer.

I let a bit of myself out to show that I have fallen for her. For once, I felt like I could really be myself. But it seems she was just playing with me. She was still in love with Seifer when I finally confessed to her.

So Rinoa left me for him. I didn't trust anyone anymore, I was stupid for trusting her in the first place. I didn't believe in love, I didn't want to meet anyone until I went to another world.

I met this guy named Bartz. How can I describe him? he's a happy-go-lucky guy. He was weird in some ways, I would treat him like shit and he would still bother me.
He's always hang with me, I just didn't understand why.

We eventually started getting along. I learned a lot about Bartz...but I still couldn't get to trust him or myself.

I also met a monkey boy name Zidane. He seems cute and innocent but he's very perverted. Bartz, the weird guy, he instantly glomps Zidane and they become close friends.

I guess you can say I became friends with them too...
Those two are extremely annoying yet fun to be with. Little by little, I let myself be who I really am. I would laugh with them from time to time, joke around a bit.

Then there's that day, I was in trouble. I couldn't do anything, for once in my life, I felt helpless.
I didn't know what to do but Bartz came and saved me. I couldn't believe how strong he was. I was mesmerized by his movements, I couldn't take my eyes off him.
Suddenly, my vision blurred. I tried to keep my eyes open but failed.
The last thing I remember was hearing Bartz calling my name then everything went black.

When I awoke, I didn't remember what happened or knew where I was.
I felt something heavy on me, it was Bartz sitting beside the bed. My heart was beating fast, seeing him asleep felt strange. He was..beautiful.

I didn't understand what was happening to me. Unconsciously, my hand moved some of his strands of hair out of his face.
Big mistake, it woke up him up. When he saw me, he was surprised and happy.

He got up so fast, the chair he was sitting on fell, making a big thud sound. He jumped on me and held me tightly, making my heart skip a beat.

I didn't understand what his big reaction was about. I was so lost.

"Thank god you're okay...thank god" Bartz repeated, holding me.

I'm no sure why but tears fell from my eyes, I hugged back, rubbing his back.
He backed away from me, looking at me deep in the eyes. He moved his hands wiping my tears with his thumb.
I didn't react, I only leaned in his warm hand closing my eyes, "How are you feeling?" he asked.
"I'm fine...don't worry..." I replied, washing away that worried look on his face.
He brushed my hair out of my face. I opened my eyes, gazing at his light brown eyes.

I didn't notice until he was closer to me that he was leaning. My heart started to beat faster, "What is wrong with me...?" I thought.

My body just moved closer, we were inches apart until we heard a loud BAM coming from the door.
Zidane was at the door, holding a big bucket of water our body just react moving away from each other.

"He's awake!?" Zidane asked hapilly over-joyed it seems, jumping on me and hugging me "God! I'm glad your back, you scared us half to death. we were worried! Bartz here didn't want to leave your side." I looked at Bartz, he looked away, his cheeks turning pink.

"Well I'm back...so no more worries now." I said, ruffling Zidane's hair. He just laughed.
I laughed a little too... but this feeling that I had when Bartz and I were alone wasn't going away. I couldn't understand what I felt. Those feelings were similar to what I was feeling when I was with Rinoa. I wondered, "Am I... falling in love with Bartz?" I looked at Bartz and he looked back at me, smiling and giving me a wink.

A few days later, after I woke up, we started travailing to our destination.
The weather was not bad so we camped outside.

Zidane fell asleep almost as soon as he layed on the ground. I put my blanket on him so he wouldn't get cold. Bartz was keeping the fire going.

I leaned on a tree, watching the fire burn the wood that Bartz had place in the fire.
It was at that time that I finally understood what was wrong with me.
I really was falling for Bartz.

My heart would be faster when I heard his, and when I looked at him, my cheeks would burn. It seemed I have actually maybe fallen in love with him.

Eventually, we all fell asleep. I woke in the middle of the night. I stood up and went to the river near by. I took my clothes off, staying in my boxers and jumped in the water.

It felt cold but relaxing. I finally understood my feelings and it felt like nothing was wrong with me after all.

I stood in the water, staring at the full moon. It was a wonderful night, I sort of dozed off while gazing at the moon, until I heard a big splash coming from behind me.

I quickly looked around and saw no one. Then suddenly, something grabbed my leg and pulled me in. I popped my head out of the water, gasping for air, then I heard someone laughing

I looked behind me and see Bartz laughing.

"What the hell, Bartz?" I turned away, blushing like mad.
Bartz was only in his boxers too, he was beautiful, the moon shinning on his wet muscular body.

"You weren't there when I woke up so I thought you would be here" he said moving closer towards me.

I looked at him, his hair was dripping down on his body. I tried not to stare but he was too...I can't explain it.

He placed his hand on my cheek, moving my head to stare at his deep brown eyes.

It only made me blush even more with him staring at me like that.

"Well I'm here and I'm okay so you can go back to sleep."
I said, so he could leave but he leaned in closer, our lips inches apart.

"But I don't want too...I want to be here with you." He said, finally pressing his lips against mine. I was surprised. I tried to move away but he held me tight around my waist.

I slowly closed my eyes, lost to his taste. I leaned in more closely to have more of his lips, his body. He licked my lips, I opened my mouth with pleasure he added his tongue in my mouth and our tongues did a dance. He broke the kiss, leaning back, a string of saliva still connected to our lips.

My face was burning, I hid my face in his chest, so he couldn't see me. he grabbed my face in his hands, I looked away, blushing.

"Look at me, Squall" I looked at him like he asked. He smiled, leaning down again to peck my lips, "I love you" I was surprised by those words, I was speechless, yet I felt happy.

I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. He looked sad and took it the wrong way, "I..I'm sorry" He stepped back.

"No don't..." I though, "I have to do something"

I moved closer and hugged him, "I... I lo..love you t-too" I said, hiding my face in his neck. He sighed in relief, petting my hair saying, "I'm glad." He kissed the top of my head, I looked up at him, leaning closer so our lips would meet again. That night was the best night, I had completely forgotten everything bad that's happened to me and in my world.
Everything was gone when I would be in his arms and his lips would be pressed against mine.
