I have to say I'm both impressed and surprized. From your post, and useravatar, I wouldn't have imagined coming to your gallery and seeing a lovely painting like this! Firstly, I LOVE the bright and bold reds and blues. They look completely fantastic! I think that it adds a lot of life to this painting. I LOVE the moody dark muted colours of the water, too. Overall, I also think that the vertical orientation of this piece is quite effective! The stairs have a lot of detail and look wonderful. Overall, a very nice piece!

Pleeeease, do some more watercolour! it is a nice, quick style, but still with some detail for example in the water. not so sure what the brown thing on the right side is...
nice compostition too, with the red house in the middle and the repeating blues...

I like te painting, but you kinda used watercolor as if it were acrylics-- thicker pigment and not enough water. Though, i could be wrong. it just looks like that. The river down at the bottom was nicely painted, i think. Perhaps you should experiment with more water-- It'll come out paler, though.

Very well painted. Well done on getting so many vibrant colours from watercolour, it looks as if the buildings almost glow!

Nice use of water colours. Esp. in the water area. I like how it isn't very detailed but you can define certain areas. Good job
