All my life I’d heard how wrong it was to be a lesbian, to be gay, and even to be bisexual. But I never truly understood why. Why it mattered who you fell in love with? Most of all I wondered, could it happen to me? Well it did. I fell in love with a girl named Kate.
Kate was the most beautiful creature I’d ever seen. Her eyes were entrancing. Her smile exquisite. Her touch so soothing and her body perfect. I remember the first time I felt her skin, so soft it was heavenly.
I wish there was a way for me to share my love for her and the feelings I feel every time we touch. But all I have is my words. The words that don’t describe the true feelings. There are no words to use that will make you feel as I do.
I pray that you one day have the love I do whether the person is male or female. I pray you one day find the person who sends warmth through your body every time you touch.
But most of all I pray you ignore others and follow your own heart.
