  Azita is a very calm individual, making it rather difficult to rile her up easily. A side effect of this is that she does not portray many expressions on her face, even if she is feeling a wide variety of emotions. She is very cautious when speaking with strangers which tends to come off as callous due to her constant sense of pride working its way into her speech. Azita is not good with first impressions, but if someone is able to work their way closer to her, she is a fiercely loyal friend, willing to risk her life to protect her friends and expecting nothing less in return.
History

   Azita was born to the alpha of a fairly small but wealthy house established by a long line of charmers, carefully amassing their wealth and being highly selective about who was accepted into their house.  The youngest of 5 children, Azita was the runt of the litter, but was also the quickest to pick up on new concepts.  She was often teased by her older brothers because of her strange eyes, most of them having a variation of a green hue and consistently round pupils.  Azita was trained in the basics of combat but took an interest in her family legacy of sigilmancy, learning as much as she could about the craft.

    Azita’s older brothers were quick to enter the school system and enlist as soon as they finished testing, the lineage of House Barakzai allowing them to excel in the art of sigilmancy and become apprentices once they finished testing. When Azita entered the school system, she was encouraged to find a partner to become a shadow due to her promising skill with sigilmancy. However, the girl was too stubborn and refused to work with anyone else, becoming somewhat of a loner during her time in school.   Azita was not so keen to enter the war immediately upon finishing her testing, choosing to remain with her parents and other members of the house to study sigilmancy further rather than enlist.
    What prompted the youngest and smallest of her family to finally enlist was the death of her eldest brother. He was killed on a patrol and the reality of the world around Azita set in, realizing that the way she was living was a safe little bubble detached from the real world. All that was brought back of her brother’s belongings was his weapon, a Shamshir that had been passed down through generations. With her remaining brothers already out in combat and armed with their own weapons, Azita took the Shamshir and enlisted, becoming an apprentice at the age of 18. Despite the amount of time she spent in the army thus far, she still retained her preference for studying, only becoming more active and taking patrols in recent years.
