“We’re going to find a river in the middle of the sea?” John says as they reach a point where all they can see is horizon all around.

“Just keep following. You’ll know it when you see it.” Honeymaren calls back to him.

But he wouldn’t need to follow them. The feeling is steadily getting stronger. But he can’t shake the feeling that where they are headed isn’t the true source.

He hopes it will lead him to it.

Soon after, he can see something coming up over the horizon. A glacier.

“It’s a river of ice.”

They nod to him, grinning.

Reaching the glacier, he follows them down into a cavern.

“Heh, I guess all the big superheroes need a frozen home. This reminds me of my friend’s Fortress of Solitude.” He says, looking around as they head inside.

The differences are apparent though. They enter a chamber with floating lights, and it is as dark as space. Honeymaren twirls around a little, and even Elsa looks a bit awed.

“So many lights!” Honey says. “It’s like walking in the stars.”

“Yeah. More than usual. Darker too.” Elsa says. “I wonder if it’s telling us that it’s welcoming you.”

They look at John. “Maybe. I can see why you like it here. Sure is calm.” He says, and he walks, like he feels something pulling him.

The other two follow.
