Awesome! I love how fluffy he looks, and the rain effects and water droplets on yer Xaphie there look really nice ^^ The shading's excellent - I love the highlights you put there! They're like... gradient but not XD And nice grass! Your anatomy is awesome andandand... oh! Xaphiel's belly, how you can kinda see his ribs... that's a nice touch~ And I love his markings!
As for the face, well... I dunno exactly XD But it reminds me of this 3D gargoyle that roar/hisses/screeches as part of a logo before a movie. Dark Castle or something? I really don't know XDD THat's... just what it reminds me of. I like the way you've put it in the backgroud like that, so it's not very garish, or barely noticable. Awesome work!
