I don't follow wrestling or have any idea who this guy is, but it continues to baffle me that you aren't a professional cartoonist.

You need to check out Braun Stroman. Check out this match with The Big Show (who dropped a lot of fat-he even has a six pack of abs!). Sounds boring on paper but both men put on one hell of a match:

They recently had a cage match that was pretty good too (too recent for a full video but this has the highlights):

The last part was to write off Show who is going for hip surgery. Stroman is the very definition of a larger than life character and has really won over many skeptics, especially myself. He debuted as a member of the Wyatt family while impressed with his strength, I figured he'd end up being another Koslov or Heidenrich but this guy has far exceeded all expectations.

Personally I think lot of problems lies in the writing, for WWE that is, the talent themself seems limited to what writers require from them and there's little space for the wrestlers to be creative, I think that in earlier days wrestlers had some more freedom in shaping characters they perform as. Bit of a wild west, it had it's ups and down but I think it helped to create more authentic feel. Aside from that, well, age of internet and social media killed the mystique behind the business.

You got a point
But you have to admit,it's real hard to write ideas when 90 percent of them have been used

Most certainly, well in some regards the business is changing, many independent promotions are getting more spotlight, but as for WWE - the really need to step their game up if they want to keep up with all this.Β

Nah, no worries I'm not a mark, it's impossible, especially in this day and age when wrestlers themselves don't bother to maintain their gimmicks. Remember when "curtain call" was the thing? hahah

If you wanna watch old-skoolier rassling with amazing spots and larger than life personas and storylines, I highly recommend Lucha Underground.Β

Too bad it's in huge financial trouble and season 4 is probably not gonna happen. Especially now that they've lost several of their biggest stars to injury, like Angelico, Son of Havoc and Sexy Star.

No. It's Metal Gear Solid reference, both the line, and the title of the drawing alone.
