I was kind of hoping they'd give Victoria Hand a bit more character development, but the events of The Winter Soldier pretty much made that impossible without breaking MCU continuity, but as of Season 2 it's confirmed that Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, Mr. Hyde and Quake are now part of the MCU.
