Godzilla is so cool... I can't believe how badly they screwed up that american version from '98. Although Cloverfield was a pretty good consolation prize, I still think that someone else should get another shot at a new big G movie.Related content

you're right, Cloverfield was actually a really good movie. i guess some people really hated the "found footage" gimmick and downer ending.

I LOVE the scale you've set up. Gives Godzilla much more of an impact when we get to see the human scale.
By the way, I read in your discription that you'd like to see another shot at an American Godzilla movie after what we got back in 1998. Did you hear about Legendary Pictures showing an interest in rebooting Godzilla?

before it came out i thought cloverfield was a godzilla movie lol. The fact it wasnt was a huge dissapointment to me so i hated the movie. i need to give it another chance though

Thanks, I like most of the lighting but I think the atmospheric perspective on godzilla sucks. I kept making him darker to get more contrast, but now he doesn't look as big and far away as I wanted. I'll probably update this one soon.
