Description More brains. These guys are a fair bit older than their kung-fu compatriots but were added to Bretlan around the same time. As much as I enjoy the somewhat ridiculous idea behind Cenescular and Cenesarch, its these brains that have won my heart.

Cerebrat feed off of excess mental energy. they often congregate around day-dreamers and restless sleepers to absorb the surplus mental energy they exude. Other times they will feed off of artists, drawing sustenance from their ideas and their creative process, leaving the irate artist without inspiration and unable to continue. Many a Cerebrat has been blamed for a lack of creativity or the sudden onset of writers block.

Cortesite actively seek out a high output of mental energy and are drawn to active minds and other Psychic types. Unlike Cerebrat who absorb mental energy from the environment Cortesite are much more forthcoming and will forcefully subdue prey before probing the brain with their proboscis. For a short while after an attack the victim will experience memory loss, in-coordination and general stupidity whereas Psychic pokemon may struggle to execute mental attacks.

You can see Cortesites shiny variant here:Β saucylobster.deviantart.com/ar…

Thanks, I always think of the spine as part of the brain so turning it into a giant brains tail just made sense. Also bones are awesome. Thanks for the favourites and the comment, always appreciated from a monster aficionado such as yourself.Β

A fan of brains as well as birds. I think this guy might be one of my favourites and sums up how I go about designing these; simple but with everything it needs.
