Commission 3 of 4 for YamarfiThis pretty boy's name's Emesios. He's an arrogant and spoiled prince, and I wanted to give him a sort of renaissance feeling. This piece's inspired by the Venus of Urbino by Titian. ^^ I had a lot of fun painting him.

Color of skin looks like Apollo of Dawn.
In ancient greek myths, Apollo named "gold-skinned", and his statues covered with gold (sometimes slightly tanned, because the sun gives tan, and one of the epithets of Apollo is "Tan-giver" - there your color in very right).
