The invocator stared in mute disbelief at the arcane device hovering just above Captain Arneson's map desk."Yes, Ian," the captain confirmed, "A trans-temporal resonator..."
"But, but... that technology has been banned for almost a century!"
"Only for law-abiding citizens and RAC personnel. As ' pirates', we will be expected to carry and employ such contraband."
The invocator was visibly distressed, "You actually want me to invoke a timeslip?!"
The runes on Arneson's eyepatch flared as he approached the resonator, "Only a few hours, Ian. Just long enough to give our airship the telltale aura of time jumping, but not long enough to risk a paradox event."
