Description The invocator stared in mute disbelief at the arcane device hovering just above Captain Arneson's map desk.

"Yes, Ian," the captain confirmed, "A trans-temporal resonator..."

"But, but... that technology has been banned for almost a century!"

"Only for law-abiding citizens and RAC personnel. As ' pirates', we will be expected to carry and employ such contraband."

The invocator was visibly distressed, "You actually want me to invoke a timeslip?!"

The runes on Arneson's eyepatch flared as he approached the resonator, "Only a few hours, Ian. Just long enough to give our airship the telltale aura of time jumping, but not long enough to risk a paradox event."

It's always more fun when you have access to really amazing tools like a 3-axis CNC router. Glad you enjoyed!

I'm making a D&D manual dealing with time travel. Would you mind if I used this(properly cited, naturally) as the seal for the Order of Disharmonious Paradox?

I'd be honored.

Did you write that piece or did it come from a book?
Title?

On the piece itself you have clean sharp edges it creates a really nice contrast to the red flame graphics.

So glad you liked my commentary. It is not a book yet, but I think it has potential. Actually this piece (as well as [link] ) and the accompanying 'story excerpts' were directly inspired by the work of DA artist =Winneganfake . Dmitri has created a delightful mystique around some of his 'Arcanepunk' creations by providing a colorful storyline to complement them. Here are a few of his pieces if you are interested.

Perhaps one day the little story parts could be collected into a full-length book.

hee, was about to demand it be made in tanglble format (thought it was a 3d render at first XD)

any possible chance of reducing the size and hocking it as a necklace?
(dunno if the machines can handle te details, but though I'd tho that out there anyways

Thanks for the suggestion. Already using a 1/8" bit to get the small details, but I just watched a program about the machinery (entirely mechanical, btw) that the US Mint uses to create master-dies for coins. Hmmm....

Wow, so lovely, it reminds me the glass round thing that is like a window in some old church. (Sorry donΒ΄t know the word in english, traductos says = Rosette ^^)

Thanks! (and for the fave, too!) Yes, it does bear a resemblance to the rosette window designs. I'll keep it in mind for my next Gothic cathedral.
