My daughter and I were outside and we noticed a BUNCH of these little guys crawling around everywhere she liked it!
update: 6/20/15
she still loves these! She says all day "outside" and "snail" and she will pluck them up bring them in the house and watch them come out of their shell

We don't have wild snails where I live. I saw my first one at my mom's just a couple years ago. I just had to pick it up and play with it. They're such neat little creatures.

they are! me and my daughter would poke them on the shell lightly and they'd hide quickly she got a kick out of it Although the big ones kind of creep me out

After it rains I wish we saw more of these guys, at least they mind their own business.  Instead we get bugs galore

oh we get bugs too but we have this bush here at our townhouse and I just noticed there are soooo many of them I then realized and looked down at my feet which I saw a lot of dead ones too LOL but yeah I've been seeing a lot of june bugs due to the time of year and spiders ever since we moved in late November 2014...and they don't look like the common wolf spiders they're slightly bigger and brown..not a recluse I'm sure but something...I moved all my stuff/table/ottoman and two piece sectional couch the other day chasing after a damn spider I cannot let them leave my sight knowing my daughter plays on the floor with her toys and could get a scary surprise

I'm seeing a lot more june bugs too and a lot of times we have to sweep a lot of them out of the garage since they always manage to rush in while someone is outside and I remember on Tuesday when I was changing the rear brake light that went out on my car I had a few kamikaze straight at me

I've been finding more spiders making it into the house though thankfully I manage to kill them.  Not sure what kind they are but all I know is that they are the kind that I don't want sneaking around here
