Still working on the lore, but heres a quick summary.

Eriviins come off as predators, because in the worlds they are in the predators glow significantly. They adapted so they come off to look like a predator but actually they spend most of their time eating bugs and plants. They are around the size of the average bear, but in their world they are fairly small. Their planet is 4X as large as earth, and they have many more variety of climates and areas. Their species ranges wildly, as they can look almost completely different depending on the climate and where they adapted.

This current Eriviin Was born on the northern darker side of the planet, where there doesnt seem to get any sunlight, and is very rare (once a year) that they get a day of sunlight. This Eriviin adapted to the darkness and its feet glow to help show where it is going, as it also has night vision. Its claws are for the rough cold terrain and to dig to find bugs underneath the frozen surface. He lives in the area that is slightly warmer, and not in the ice areas, so its not completely frozen, but still really cold.
