“Come on!” Freya grabbed Stein’s hand, tugging on it, “It’s too pretty out tonight to stay inside.”

“What?” Stein frowned, but followed the insistent tugging on his arm as Freya drug him out the door and down the road. She held up a camera in one hand and smiled up at him.

“It’s so pretty, I have to get some pictures for Nyx!” He shook his head at her and a small smile pulled at his mouth. She chatted away and he listened, watching her walk and weave her way down a narrow path, following the sound of water. She gasped and stopped dead, causing him to run into her. He wrapped an arm around her waist so she didn’t topple into the water.

“Watch it!” he snapped. She wasn’t paying any attention and kicked off her shoes, handing him the camera. “What are you doing?”

“Shh!” she whispered, “You’ll scare them away.”

“Freya!” She waved at him and started hopping on the rocks, holding her gray dress up to keep it from the water. He watched, fearing she would slip and fall into the freezing water, but she was too graceful for that. He relaxed as she danced over to a large rock and squatted. For some reason, he turned the camera on and lifted it, as she bent lower and waved her hand over the ground and its flowers growing up. White moths shot up and fluttered around her. She laughed as they flitted around, landing on her clothes and hair and as one landed on her fingers her face lit up. He called her name and she looked over her shoulder and that’s when he pressed the button. The shutter snapped and he smiled when she eventually came back, the hem of her dress soaked and her body shivering in the cold.

“I want this one,” he told her, pulling her in for a kiss.

Whoo! This one was fun! I saw the stock picture of this and was like "Must do a picture!"
