One other thing particularly wonderful about this story is the internal perspective and realization, as well as the art:
i read through all consuming a while, and while I found it interesting, the story was more focused on the protagonist instead of the object of interest, it was told through his lens. Iβd much love to read a story of extreme magnitude told through the perspective of the one growing, (also, as you mentioned, your artwork quality has significantly improved sense then.)
