Ah, the new dummies are so much easier to work with!I've had this idea ever since I played Crisis Core (I was so devastated
) Anyway, don't you see this happening? I don't even know who to feel worse for - Matt (kicked while lying down) or Mello (slapped at his rare moment of kindness).
No one ended up guessing why Matty was crying. Sorry guys, good luck next time

I can sympathize with Matt. Every time that I've watched Zack's death, it makes me want to cry. It's kinda the same (for me) about Matt: I hate what happened to them.

a lot of people say once you play as Zack you'll never be able to sympathize with Cloud's emo-ness to the same degree. I think Zack had it much tougher, and yet he never let it get him down.

I agree. I mean, poor puppy had to kill someone close to him! And really, the only think I find Sad about Cloud now that doesn't annoy me is that he makes zack life his. I was just like 'awwh...He couldn't handle it! neither can the rest of the world!' (lol)
I, personally, put Zacks death on Aerith D< she was the reason he got caught, anyways. Plus, Zack is STRONGER than Cloud! better looking too -___-

I dunno, Aerith was really a ray of light in Zack's life. That moment where he's crying in the church and she hugs him from behind totally won me over. As for the looks and all, Cloud's pretty too, but Zack's personality is just SO MUCH better, it's hard to even think about Cloud after you've gotten to know Zack

I just never really liked Aerith much. I was never for the whole, slightly useless Female Character. In fact, it's rare for me to like a female character in most things. especially the flower thing. Yes, it was a very cute couple, but some of her dialog just bugged me. I like it when they talk about other things.
And yes, Zack is a major upgrade. Cloud is cool, but in my opinion, they should have used Zack. He was able to defeat two people who were par with Sephiroth, where as though cloud was eventually able to beat him, he had trouble with it. in fact, Sephiroth comes back (to my annoyance.)I also found it sad that he has absolutely no recollection of Zack's existence for a long time.

I think they made Zack so damn awesome, because Crisis Core came out years after FF7 and they really needed to out-do themselves to get Cloud's fans to like someone else

Yeah, the funniest part is that he was never intended to be so popular, nor created. they just wanted Aeirth to have a boyfriend before cloud. in fact, they almost made that boyfriend Sephiroth!

Seems like Matt isn't the only one who was sad when Zack died. I too cried so hard.
When i first played it I was like "Nooo Zack you can't do this. this shouldn't end like this. "
And second time "Damn you shinra army. Dare you touch him and you'll be SO sorry. Kill them Zack, kill theeem

when I played I completed all the missions, so my Zack was ridiculously strong - I took out the lot of them with a single blow every time. It was just so not fair that I died in a cut-scene! T_T poor Zackie
