Katyusha from Pravda in "Girls Und Panzer".I had a hard time deciding if I should just shade it or color it. In the end, I just went with the first choice. Also, I couldn't find a manga version of GuP, so I didn't have a reference for the shading, so this was the best I could do.

I pretty much never use manga versions for reference on the shading, I take it straight from the colored ones, I have run into the problem of having 2 similar shades next to each other that kill the area so I need to make some choices in that regard

I see what you mean. I try to find a reference that uses the same color, since it's easier for me to match the amount of darkness/black it needs. I would have used colored pencils, but Katyusha has a lot of colors I can't match with my current set.
