It's not just the yaoi fans, but also Japan x OC/self inserts and Vietnam (my third favorite Hetalia girl) fans bashing at Taiwan for being more popular than her.
I personally don't like TaiPan , because my beloved APH Taiwan gets hate from a shallow pairing that the fans love so much (I don't like TaiPan for many other reasons).
