So, I watched a new promo for Be Cool, Scooby DooΒ www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw24y9β¦ , and in my opinion it looks okay. I know a lot of people dislike the animation, but I'm still going to look forward to it. I might review it too. So, I felt like drawing Daphne in that art style for tonight.Related content

I loved how random she was throughout the series. XD

A few times in that show, like when she dresses like a vampire or takes up mime, I think she walks dangerously close to crazy.

Actually, I thought the animation was alright. it's the new designs that are more controversial, in that they compare slightly to that of Family Guy/Go Animate.
I recently caught the first two episodes, and it's pretty much "okay".Β

When I watched that link I was surprised. I thought you were talking about another Scooby show. But a new one, honestly it looks nice. Also nice job man. Another thing the animation does remind me of some cartoons gegh. Alright I'm sorry hit head gegh.

Typically when a company cheaps out on the animation, it isn't good. Heck, look at what happened when MGM decided to make The Pebble and The Penguin on the cheap.

Another Scooby Doo cartoon? Wake me up when Cartoon Network does a reboot of a Hanna Barbera cartoon that is not related to Scooby Doo (or its rip offs).

I'm not the biggest Scooby Doo fan, so I'm not really angry at this animation decision. However, I do have to address that we might be living in a generation where character designs might have gotten a bit lazy and started copying similar styles form other shows. It looks as if Family Guy took over the animation for Scooby Doo. It seems like the designs were created just so it could match the humor, or vice-versa.

It's more than an art style change. It looks like a cheap version of Family Guy's style, or GoAnimate done "competently." Warner Bros. cheaped out on that. Remember what happened when MGM cheaped out on The Pebble and The Penguin?
