So, I watched Justice League vs. Teen Titans online. To be honest, I'm not an expert of DC, nor have I watched any DC Universe movies before this, and like a lot of people I wanted to see this film because of "Teen Titans". However, while I did like it, I'm not going to remember much of what happened, with the exception of certain fanservice-y moments, because I'm just like that. Joking aside, I did want to draw this. TTG Starfire and Raven dressed as their JLvs.TT selves.Related content

I can understand not remember stuff that happened in a DC animated film. I don't have this problem film, but I completely forgot there were 3 batman and robin movies leading into this until 2 days after I saw this movie. I completely forget the Court of Owls movie even happened outside of it's title.

Honestly, I don't think those direct-to-video DC movies are for cartoon fans like you and me. While I get why some people like them because they're darker and edgier. They want that version of Batman TAS where they can swear a little, show blood and want to see non-implied sex scenes. That JLvs.TT is perfect for those Teen Titans Go haters. You know, the ones who want the show to be serious and darker.

I mean, sure a cartoon fan can like it just fine, but it's mostly for someone who wants to see that Batman TAS or Justice League cartoon that's in the PG-13/R rated. Perfect for that TTG hating fanbase
If you enjoy it, great! But as for me, I'll just enjoy the cartoon Teen Titans (as well as TTGo!)

Then they should definately watch Justice League Gods and Monsters and it's short series adaption since it's made by Bruce Timm. The DC animated films are usually aimed towards the hardcore comic book fans since most of them are usually just adaptions of famous DC stories. I just wish they stop using the YJ anime style.

If you enjoy it fine, but these direct-to-videos are just not for me. The reason why I like enjoy shows like Batman TAS because it has that excellent balance of humor, drama and action that both kids and adults can enjoy and Teen Titans (as well as Go!) has that self referential humor in shows like Ninja Turtles.
The direct to videos try to squeeze in that adult feel and try to amuse that comic book fanbase and I'm sure there's people who like them, but they try to squeeze in that darker and edgier feel into it and to be honest, it's just not needed. I'm sure there's some that are kid friendly and enjoyable, but I'm just going to stick to the cartoons.

They usually have that gritty and edgier feel because the stories the animation is basing off of was pretty much the same tone so it's somewhat accurate to the source material (Death Of Superman, Enter The Red Hood, Flashpoint Paradox, etc)
the few that had the right balance of grit and humor had to be films like Justice League: The New Frontier, Justice League: War, Superman vs The Elite, Green lantern First Flight, and arguably the dc cartoon shows that came after Timm's universe such as Legion Of Superheroes, GL:TAS, Young Justice, and my personal favorite Batman: The Brave And The Bold. Kid friendly cartoons that's out there are the Lego cartoons, JLA Trapped In Time, Batman Unlimited, and the current DC Super Hero Girls and the upcoming JLA: Action.
I'm only this defensive because I guess I am more of a comic book fan than I am a cartoon fan especially since there's rarely any cartoons that interest me in this day and age. But in the end it all comes down to personal interest and taste just like I find TTG! a really terrible show that was only made based on nostalgia but that's just me.

It was cool to see the Justice League go up against Trigon. Like how he was able to shrug off blows from both Superman and the Flash like they were nothing.

I can't really say that since I'm used to Tara as Raven so much. But in this movie, I found this actress pretty good.

Some DC movies have that kind of effect. You sorta forget about them. Like I watched the first movie with Damian in it and I forgot most of it. Now Crisis on Two Earths and Under the Red Hood? Remember those movies easy! XD
