Re-do of this super old picture here:
I decided to change the context and mood of the picture, instead of Dylan looking douchey, he's kind of upset with Fang but still there to comfort Max, basically how he is in the books.
I had a long discussion with about Dylan and Fang who definitely made me hate Fang less but I still can't forgive him for all the crap he's done.
So I shall remain team Dylan, and look forward to what happens in Nevermore...

I still think he's kind of a pretty-boy, and I still think he's completely unnecessary (Why, James? We were so close to having a YA Fiction series with no love triangle. SO CLOSE.) but now I at least can tolerate him, which is better than I could've said before, so good on ya.
I usually am cought somewhere between fainting, giggling hysterically and setting fire to someone's house when I read a Max book. It's one of those "Can't live with or without it" things.

Have you ever read Rick Riordon's twitter feed? He's laughing at his readers' naivety. I can just tell. I've never read Game of Thrones (the only reason why I know anything about Rick Riordon is because my best guy friend is a HUGE fan and complains to me constantly), so what does the author do that's so troll-ish?

Yeah I never looked at Rick's twitter feed but I can imagine how he's just like "Oh silly readers whom I love to torture so much 
Basically George RR Martin kills off all your favorite characters and revels in the characters you hate. He's a very realistic author, nothing ever is perfect and happy like a fairytale. Don't get me wrong; his writing is absolutely mind blowing, it's incredibly well written and detailed.
But the first book basically, the main character (Ned Stark) get's beheaded by the new King (Jeoffry) who is the bastard son of the old King who died but the bastard son is only 14! And he is the son of his mother, Queen Cersise, and her brother Sir Jaime Lannister. And he is a sadistic little bastard who is holding Ned Stark's 15 year old daughter hostage and Ned's son Robb is getting an army ready to kill him. But Ned dies, his youngest son get's paralyzed and Jeoffry is a power hungry king who hasn't been killed in the first 2-3 books.
So you could understand how one would be tormented by reading that story line

I would want to go to his house and wring his neck. Plain and simple. Is that one of those series that you want to recommend to people but also want to tell them to run far away from it?

Yeah it's one of those series that I tell my friends; "If you liked Lord of The Rings and the Hobbit, go watch/read Game of Thrones, but sit alone in a room with a box of tissues and a punching bag because a lot of people you love are going to die and everyone you hate is going to troll them. Just warning you now, but it's amazing"

Have you ever read Witch and Wizard by James Patterson? That's my version of Game of Thrones. Everyone awesome dies or becomes evil, the main characters are clueless but cool, where you want to hug them and then punch their faces, and the plotline gives you whiplash. I love that series so much, but people should run away as fast as they can when they see it at the store. It sucks you in and then proceeds to distroy your life in ways I can't even begin to describe. James Patterson causes me so much emotional distress I can't even begin to explain it.
Yes. I love when people draw Maximum Ride characters that aren't Max, Fang or Dylan. It's beautiful.

It's weird, because my initial reaction was "No! Don't stay away! Read it!" but then I was like, "Wait... the emotional trauma might not be worth it."
Aww they're so cute! Kaitlyn looks actually pretty close to how I imagined Angel, too. Really, if her hair was lighter and curlier (which isn't a big deal- hair can be styled) she'd be spot on! Mikey looks pretty Gazzy-esque, too, not exactly how I pictured him, but he still matches James Patterson's description pretty well. I have two little cousins, Ella and Dallas, who act a lot like Angel and Gazzy. Ella is 5, so she's basically the same age, but Dally is only 3 so he's a bit off.

Yeah hair they can change, Mikey isn't exactly how I picture Gazzy either, I imagine Gazzy with super spikey blonder hair and a bit younger face. Even though Mikey and Kaitlyn are exactly the same age as Gazzy and Angel are in the books.
