Happy Valentine's day you two!This was a commission from NakaseArt for her husband Draconis-de-Christus . It took a lot of work but was totally worth it, I learned a lot from it!

This took me completely by surprise, and goodness, you captured us well! Not only in how you depicted our characters and their facial expressions, the balance of our poses, but also with the touch of the lanterns. It's all very... us x)
I love the warmth and richness of the colors for in the background, the deep purple, the reds and yellows of the lanterns.
Thank you so much for helping my dragoness be a very sneaky Naka, and making ours a very, very special Valentine's day!

Now I will gush
This is such a wonderful painting! It's all perfect, and the Chinese lanterns are sweet touch. We have arrived at "the moment" where the flowers have just been revealed to Kasy and you've captured that exactly. The emotions are spot on, with Kasy being surprised and Saignus' sweet smile.
This was truly a great experience for me as a customer of your work. You were helpful, professional, and punctual. I would recommend you to any who would listen, and even buy again in the future if able.
Now, just to wait for my darling to find this on his nightly deviation list check.

I am so glad you like it! I am so happy that you commissioned me, I learned a lot during this piece and it definitely was worth the moments of frustration when my ADHD kicked in and I just couldn't focus. XD I was feeling really down this year about not having someone to draw a Valentine's Day gift for, but being able to draw one for you two helped me feel a lot better about that.
I'm completely ecstatic that I was able to finish this on time! Hooray! C:

Seriously! Todd Lockwood's biggest advice is deadlines. "You can have all the talent in the world, but if you can't stick to a deadline you won't keep a job." I reworded it a little, so it's not word for word. You get a big round of applause!
