Name: Lapus

Gender: Female

Species: Bio-Raptor

Appearance: Lapus is a blue themed colored bio-raptor which also represents her love for water as she is located in tropical environments/areas. She has two small pink feathers tied into her hair, these are not growing out of her but rather a decorative appearance.

Personality:
Lapus is a kind hearted creature that is playful and full of fun. She's always up to mischief and for a raptor is much more like a cat compared to anything else. If she isn’t found sleeping on a rock in the sun, she is bound to be hunting or playing in the water.

About Species:

Bio-raptors {short for bioluminescent raptors} are a species type of raptor that were genetically evolved to be more of an omnivore species. They quite often eat fungal type plants such as moss or mushrooms, although this doesn't mean their killer instinct to hunt and kill prey has been removed.
Due to eating bacteria fungi, the raptors developed a bioluminescent trait, glowing during the darker hours/environment. This means they are not the best hunters at night and usually will hunt during the day. However due to their range of food, these raptors are more suited to endure harsh climates, being able to survive for months just eating moss and other similar plant life with fungi in it.

The species main physical trait appearance is their vast colors that are striking and unnatural for their environment as well as the hard calcified head that looks like the outer skull however it is more of a rough calcified part of their head and is often used in combat when need be. If this part of the area is broken it will reveal scaly skin underneath that is very sensitive and much softer to touch then other parts of their body. This does not mean the hard skull atop their head can be removed. Doing so can be traumatic and lead to death or long-term disability.
