Description
A stream commission from , after watching Cells at Work, I was inspired to commission this pair based on the parasites responsible for malaria. While there are multiple species these two, Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum, are the most common species of malarial parasites in humans. The reason why P. falciparum looks more armored than P. vivax is because P. falciparum not only causes more severe forms of malaria, it's also the species that most commonly develops drug resistance.
In the future, I may commission other Cells at Work inspired parasite creatures.
