oh, wow! Fantastic shot! How far away from it were you, and in what sort of environment? I know a zoo local to me with a pair... or were you lucky enough to catch a shot of this guy in the wild?

Also, I love how you can see the texture of his feathers, and how he's very nearly looking directly at the camera.

this guy is in a reconditioning center, i was about 5-6 ft away with my 300mm lens, obviously not quite full zoom but ya, there you go! thanks for the fav

Wow, still! It's got some great detail and it's just a fantastic shot! I'd be lucky to get anything even half as good from my little point-and-shoot camera.
