Description Twelfth in my series of teams based on a meme by N0-oB213 - Yes, I just can't seem to stop myself deciding to make new ones - and the first one based fully in live action.

You can probably tell that I am a fan of DS9 first, followed by TOS, but have never really watched Enterprise. I do very much like particular characters in Next Gen and Voyager!

Obviously, I claim no ownership of any of the characters or component images in this fan art collage.

Cue theme music:

-- Benjamin Lafayette Sisko - a.k.a. Captain Attitude
-- Kira Nerys and Odo - Together forever, fearlessly.
-- Elim Garak - Just keep smiling, Doctor.
-- Lwaxana Troi - "She's here, she's there, she's everywhere." (Or if she's not, her voice is!)
-- Harcourt Fenton "Harry" Mudd - An irritant, yes, but such a wonderful irritant.
-- Squire Trellaine of Gothos - Liberace by any other name is still as fabulous.
-- Spot - Stand on that game! Bump that person's face!
-- The Doctor - Please state his nature as awesomely snarky.
-- Weyoun - Fun fact: The same actor plays 'Brunt... F.C.A.'
-- Alternate Spock - You know he's cool, because beard.
-- M4 - Robots? Star Trek don't need no steenkin' robots!
-- Martok - Accept no substitutes.
-- The Horta - Momma don't like you messing with her babies.
-- Dukat - He never does understand why there isn't a single statue of him on Bajor.
-- Omet Iklan - I want a future Star Trek series to have a Jem Hadar security chief. Oh, indeed it is the order of things.
-- Alice 263 and Alice 19 - As Chekov says, "This place is even better than Leningrad."
-- Data - Assimilate this, punk.
-- Tuvok - Making Spock look like a libertine since stardate 38744. One piece of advice, though: stay out of his dreams.
-- Q - Type casting, much?
-- Hikaru Sulu - Pectorals!
-- Ishka - You can bet your last slip, strip or bar on it.
-- Adam - Definitely not Herbert
-- Khan Noonian Singh - Ricardo Montalban, King of Suave Manliness and The Subtle Threat.
-- Hugh - If he walks like a zombie and acts like a zombie...
-- Zefram Cochrane - Pop in that disc; we're gonna rock and roll!

Hugh is not "undead" and neither is any other Borg. They are all very much alive.

True! Well, as long as you don't let Picard (who himself was rescued and deBorged at great risk, despite having been the proximate cause of the death of thousands of Star Fleet personnel, because Some People matter) slaughter his way flippantly through his former subordinates after using them as Borg-delaying speed bumps, as in First Contact.... Then again, they walk like zombies, look like zombies, act like zombies, and were clearly included in the show in order to bring a zombie vibe while still making it "tech."

Alive or dead, I like Hugh. He's a real mensch and a nice guy. I also like that in the end the crew treated him as a person - indeed, a living being - even though he was the equivalent of a red shirt.

An interesting take on the living status and feelings of zombies, of course, is The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price, being the earlier adaptation of I am Legend.

He's my favorite TNG character.

The "speed bumps" we're the TNG version of redshirts

Hugh: (now wearing a Spock uniform shirt) I'm not a redshirt! I'm not gonna die today!
