I made it more sharp and added shadows. I also softened the light line to be less stiff

You asked my advice, and here it comes.. I hope I am not too hard for you as it is your first and for it - very well done.. I have seen many first works what are ... I do not know.. I can never say awful as every art is beautiful but beauty is on the eyes of beholder and what I like may not be liked by other..
Anyway.. I try to give your advices on tehnic. I defenetly love that you have taken your time to work with it and you have sense of details what I lack. I miss the shadows, highlights all the time. You have done hard work with them. The shadow what the body casts.. it should start right from the shoe, not have a little distance.. and you have very well sensed the highlights flame drops. Also you have done great job for cuttig out the figure. Maybe only the hair look little bit unnormal but hair are the hardest part and don't worry with it much.. it takes long long time to make them right...
To be honest.. to get into those details, you have done superb job.. tehnically.. I most say many manipulators who have done many more works than you miss some details you did very well.
I just spot.. maybe the highlight from flame.. that seems to be quite streight line.. use filter - blur - gaussian blur to make the edges smoother.. and maybe if you wish.. the body should some places have shadows.. the light from the up seems to be quite bright too.. so I would say that in the middle should be some darkes places.. and that lightray.. I think blur for it would be great too as it looks too much like sticked at the moment...
But.. very well done.. and the way you creditied all stock - all people should be as careful in that matter as you..

For the leg shadow, I made it like this because she is like putting only her toes and the left side of her left foot on the ground, but I think you're right, that's just an annoying detail
For the the highlight from flames and middle body shadow, I think I'll have more time fixing it as you described ^^
You're right too about the sticked light ray

For a first manip, this is pretty darn good. I'm especially impressed by the reflection of the flames on the rock. That's the sort of thing that I would forget about entirely.

it was very very useful! I looked for too long for a long hair that could fit, yours was just perfect

in my case i use only about 2 stocks at most 3 and i'm already having a hard time putting them togetherXD while you used so many and still manage to pull it out
