Still doing spring cleaning in the sketchpad...This is one I drew after Halloween, inspired by the question, "what would Al and Jas be if they went trick or treating at the Citadel?" As you can see, I didn't finish Mamluk Aladdin (Jasmine was going to be holding onto his leash
), but only because Mozenrath was just begging to be drawn. So like him, always stealing Aladdin's thunder.

Hahahha sweet. I like Jas' expression in particular. What's frightening is that you could almost mistake her for Mozenrath, since he looks rather feminine in the first place.
Mozenrath in drag...lol. I cringe only because his sexuality has been rather ambiguous in the fan world, and I am one of the (few?) writers who strongly prefer writing him as het.

I still don't understand why a lot of fangirls like yaoi couples, especially when the men in question don't display any homosexual tendencies. I guess Mozenrath is questionable, but he hits on Jasmine enough to be ambiguous, perhaps bisexual.
It's been explained to me that girls like yaoi the same way guys like to see lesbian action. I still don't really get it.

Yeah, I've heard about that logic, but it just doesn't click for me. Especially, like you said, when the characters don't display any homosexual tendencies. But that is the magic of fanfiction/fanart, I suppose, to make dreams come true. (M/J forever!)
