Night Raven stood in the entry chamber patiently. She was in full costume, a black lycra body suit with red gloves, boots, belt, and domino mask. On her bosom was the red symbol of a raven.
“DNA pattern confirmed. Recognized: Night Raven, 002.”
The door in front of her slid open soundlessly, revealing the reception hall of Lakeside League HQ. Several Carter security agents stood at guard and around the main desk, wielding automatic weapons. They were dressed in knee-high black boots, gray blouses and miniskirts.
Night Raven stepped inside the room. She smiled at the guards. “New uniforms. Nice.”
