I rated this pretty highly for a reason. This piece of art is absolutely inspiring and beautiful. The colors give it a nice twist to the point being made. The small, barely visible cuts on both characters show that they both understand each other which makes this whole thing so much better. It's very original; instead of having the cheerful person being a stereotype, you can see that this character understands the perspective of the depressed one (which is pretty rare with artwork). Overall this piece of art was extremely heartwarming and encouraging to me and hopefully everyone else in this world.

This drawing is not ony well drawn but a message to many people.
A re-assuring woman may I add, and I love the fact she is lit up and the glow effects the down in the dumps boy who I also think is well drawn all crouched down . A very well drawn message reflects your impact greatly.
You also know how to draw tears very well and don't draw them tear shape... sounds weird but really, they do run down the cheek well
One piece of advice, the hand of the womans resting on her knee is a little off but still incredibly drawn.

I've been going through some shit lately that turn me into a emotional wreck and this made me tear up because that's about the same thing someone close to me said to me... when I started to fall... and it does help.. I guess crying is better when keeping it all trapped backed up in your mind... ugh I'm such a fucking mess hahaha... but yes beautiful artwork I love this.. and it made me look back to what my friend said and it made me smile and feel better so I also have to say thank you this is an amazing picture.

So I remember seeing this one, and thinking to myself just how many people really needed this and how much it picked them up. And here you were, just drawing it for that reason. Did you ever think back to this and wonder how many lives you saved? The words have been basically burned into the back of my eyes as well, I always hear them when I need them or someone else does.Β

It's funny in a way really, but whenever this piece comes up and what response it got from the community, it really just blows me away for that very reason. I was going through a pretty difficult and confusing time in my life when I originally drew this, and partly it was me trying to communicate to myself.

This is fantastic and true. I read a secret yesterday bagging depressed people for being emo to get attention, and it made me realize how trying to get attention seems to have become something we view as bad, giving attention tells someone your worthwhile and what you have to contribute is valuable. So i commend your beautiful artwork for doing that.Β
