Her parents hardly cared, so long as she looked presentable to others and made themselves look competent. Growing up, she pursued gymnastics and theatre since it gave her a real opportunity to express herself without being picked on, lest the teachers around intervene. At her current age, she worked as a mime in central Quilehurst most days and performed at small restaurants for extra pay, until she came across a flyer for a freak circus job with a high payment for those who accepted. Two days later, she had made her decision and began packing her things for the morning train.
