I have been wanting to do something like this for a while, but haven't because I haven't had a photo that was clear enough to use. I obtained one today, however, and this is the result. I used nyssi's tutorial in the making of this image.Related content

Very lively! The colours make a strong contrast, I almost think that there is too much contrast. Maybe if you had darkened the greys in some areas. But still you have done an amazing job at colouring the pupil-eye-colourie-thing

Cool ideaβI do like how you used the bright, almost candy like colors for the eye. You also did a good job in the coloring itself. The image is too gray and flat though [you might have been going for that to focus the viewerβs attention to the color in the eye] and I donβt care for the angle. I think if you moved your camera to either side a bit more or caught a side view it would be better.
But I do like the shot despite my nitpicking [sorry!]
