Night Whispering;

Presently, everyone was sleeping. By that, I meant everyone in the crew because there was a sleepover. Firstly, the sleepover was only meant to consist of Edward, Alphonse, Winry, and [Name]. However, while in the midst of their first sleepover activity, playing cards, the party was crashed by Ling Yao, and his subordinates. Obviously, this led to disasters occurring, Edward becoming infuriated and kicking him out of the window of [Name]'s apartment. However, like a rat, the Xingese Prince simply returned crawling in until his presence was accepted. Then, during the second activity of their sleepover, which was making food, it was crashed by Roy Mustang and his companions, which also led to Edward getting pissed off. And lastly, during the last activity of their sleepover which was updating each other on the central gossip, the party was crashed by the seven Homunculi who also wanted to have a sleepover.

It wass canonly wrong but for the sake of this chapter's comedy and romance build up, please bear with it. And so, right now, in [Name]'s small apartment, everyone was asleep on the floor, squashed against one another. The [H/C] female grunted as a spiky end of Roy's hair tickled the inside of her nose. She was sure he would wake up with one of her boogers in his hair.

Anyway, let's focus on the romance now.

[Name] cursed under her breath as she, with a great deal of trouble, turned her sides so that her back would face Roy, and no longer will his hair tickle her nostrils. And when she did, she was greeted by the side view of a golden-haired male, and his tan skin; this golden boy, that caused her heartbeat to accelerate for countless of reasons.

[Name]'s heartbeat began to beat louder and faster as her eyes widened at the lack of distance between Edward's face and herself. With already feeling hot due to the temperature and the lack of space, she felt her cheeks heat up, and she was sure, she was slowly becoming a blushing mess.

She was glad that the room was engulfed in darkness to prevent anyone from seeing the embarrassing expression she was presently making. However, in saying so, the [h/c] could not help but notice the little details of Edward's face, details she had failed to notice so far because she had never been so close to him.

She noticed how the bangs that framed his face seemed to fall up to his nose from afar, but closely, she realized that it ended just past his eyes. She noticed how his eyelashes that were barely visible, that appeared to be very tiny from afar, were actually of a decent length, and oddly curly near the end. She observed every single muscle that moved on his face as he made various expressions while he slept sound-fully. [Name] felt her blush spread further across her cheeks as she caught herself listing all these differences. But she wondered, what would the the golden boy, the ray of sunshine that she loved was dreaming about?

Secretly, she wished it was her.

A yawn escaped [Name]'s mouth as sleep finally caught onto her; and she smiled with beet red cheeks.

"It sucks that with all this going on, I can't confess my feelings for you," She whispered to the sleeping Edward quietly. "But just the thought of knowing that someone as you, with a heart of gold despite your annoying, stubborn, and hot-headed personality stole my heart, is enough to make me happy. Thank you, Ed. Good night," She murmured, pecking Edward's cheek, before her entire face turned red. She quickly turned her head away from him, and buried her face in her arms as steam began to come out of her ears in embarrassment.

Slowly, [Name] began to drift off to sleep not realizing that the golden-haired male she had confessed to, had heard every single word she had said. And now, because of her, he was wide awake with cheeks just as red as hers.
