Description looks like a nice Autumn day dosn't it?
well this is the mid of an Australian Summer.
In Melbourne we had a heat wave that lasted a week - in the mid 40s every day - and our poor trees suffered - did i mention we are on an extreme water restriction policy. not allowed to water our plants.

and this is just the start of global warming changing the seasons

You could just about feel the oppressiveness of the heat, in those colours.

Very cool picture. Great colours and effects you have given it. As soon as we talked about the trees defoliating the next day i noticed it everywhere. Especially the Plane Tree (Platanus kerrii).
