I've been working on a story idea, and I find I can best visualize my characters and their personalities when I draw them, so meet Roxanne. I'll be making another version of her when she is no longer poor and covered in muck.

The working title for right now is Daughter of the Prostitute. Basic gist of the plot is that Roxanne and her sister (name yet to be decided), are poor children who their mother, a prostitute tries to take care of to the best of her abilities. One day, their mother takes the girls to a fancy mansion saying that she was able to convince the count to marry her and adopt her children. Now the girls must navigate the hostile world of the nobility, which is filled with rumors, expectation, and so much more!
(I also imagine that the daughters would have some push back from within the counts household, like the staff and even the counts own children having a dislike of the girls.)

I picture Roxanne as a very outgoing individual with little to no shame. She isn't pleased about having to live primarily on the streets, what with her mothers occupation and frequency of her cliental, but if it means food an be a plausible thing for the week, Roxanne will leave her mother to her work. She is probably the eldest child and tries to look after her younger sister, but due to her hot temper and tendency to get into trouble, its often her younger sister who has to look after her.
