Such a well done photo of a rose! Also very unique in that this is not a rose at it's "prime of bloom". There are hints that the flower has seen better days, but that its beauty is still intact. The light quality gives this an almost painting like feel that I also like. For me it comes across like a photo, and then my eyes say it's a painting. The soft color pallet of the blooms is contrasted well with the deep bright green of the leaves in the background. There really is nothing I would change about this except to wish that I'd captured this moment in time as well.

Indeed, I like fully blossomed roses too, they still look beautiful even if they aren´t "perfect" anymore. And this kind actually looks great long after it reached its peak.
