I have a friend that came from Argentina, he lost members of his family to the millitary junta and now, every time the news show the right-wing Australian Govt removing a few more freedoms, taking away a few more rights from people, giving poice more shoot-to-kill laws in the name of "protecting us”, he says “I’ve seen how this movie ends”. So far, not one single thing he’s said that they will do ahead of time has been wrong. The fact that so many countries, France, Holland, Australia, America, etc are all doing the exact same things (promoting racism, removing citizens and workers rights, dismantling their welfare systems so that there is NO safety net), the fact that they’re doing them in concert and in the exact same way almost makes you paranoid that it’s all by design. But that would mean that conferences like G8 and Institutions like the IMF and the World Bank are being used to consolidate and magnify the power of the rich and their companies holds over Governments instead of for the benefit of the people of the world and obviously that’s just crazy talk.

So it must all be coincidence, huh?

This songs obviously not complete or recorded yet (other than as a scratch track) but thought I’d make this to celebrate the Australian Govts new combo Terrorism/Sedition/Industrial Reform 2 for 1 Deal where workers not only get all rights destroyed, if they complain or try to stand up, they get jailed for “sedition” and charged with being terrorists.
