some scethches of Tom Hiddleston. Not like I'm happy about these. Still not good enough to picture him.Also I have 2 pictures of Loki, unfinished. Been working for days on them. But still unfinished. Guess why. they are still NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Hiddles, why so are you so difficult to draw T____T

Ok, i'm officially jealous of your skills in being able to draw human faces.

well, it's more like what I know about human faces. The way they are "built", what are they made of. And I dont mean anatomy only, I'm also talking about shapes. Not only drawing the head but explore it. It's like making a 3D model of it in my head and draw one view. This way, as far as I know, is being learned by all professionals (and not only them). It's kinda hard and complicated, but they call it "the right way")) For a reason, I guess.
And as for me, I've been studying and practicing for years, in college and by myself (though it's only a hobby).
I'm not really good at explaining things, but I highly recommend these tutorials - [link] they are very detailed and useful
And by the way this doesn't depend on style you work with. Even if it's simplistic and cartooonish, basics should be learned. It helps a lot, really

do you perchance do commissions? If you do I was wondering if I were to give you some references of pictures that I've drawn do you think you'd be able to make a realistic looking character face of them? This helps me figure out how to describe my characters in writing. lol and just out of curiosity, have you ever done comic panels before?

Never done before) But you can send me those references, I'll see what I can do.
And about comics - I do them sometimes but never done something longer than one strip. (i's harder than doing one illustration). Actually there is one in my gallery, the only really finished one, lol

Sorry this took me so long to get back to you with. I'm currently working on making characters for my own story, I have an easier time drawing dragons and birds than humans. I drew this picture [link] (lol though it took three times to get the face the way I wanted it). I was wondering if you might be able to sketch him kind of the same way you did Tom Hiddleston? Maybe you can slim down his cheeks just a little bit...I definitely made them too round...lol maybe you can also give me pointers.
Also a different question do you do commissions? Because I think it would be fun to turn my story into comic book form, but I'm not the greatest with drawing the same thing over and over again, in small frames. Maybe you could help me with this?

I just wanted to ask if you could give me some description of this guy, like age, personality, skin/hair color and stuff. It would help to portray him better.
And about commissions and comic - I'm afraid I won't do that in near future because I can't promise anything. I don't have much free time now and if I'll start a big project like comic book, it'll took ages to make and hightly possible will be dropped.
I wish I could draw some comic, even have my own ideas for it, but work and studies eat almost all my time))

Yes I can do that. He has rich brown eyes and when the light catches his eyes in a certain way his eyes look more like a honey color (though his eyes are usually construed in a scowl-like gaze because he has lived a harsh life on the run with his father). He has brown hair that's dark but has slight red hi-lights. He has a slight tan (only slight). He's tall and very stately. He is very strict and many would call him uncaring (but he just get attached to people very easily. Many people find him hard to be around, though he is really well behaved (he's a lot like Mycroft Holmes in the BBC Sherlock, he comes across as arrogant, condescending and can sometimes be considered cruel.) He does have a softer side that hardly anybody gets to see. When my main character meets him, Jarius doesn't like him one bit but then Zephon eventually breaks the tough wall around Jarius and become friends with him. Jarius is fiercely loyal and will do anything to make sure Zephon stays safe on his journeys. I was trying to get his hair to look more like this this. ([link] where his hair was slightly structured but a little wild-I tried to make his hair gelled tight against his head and it just didn't look right, it made him look constipated lol.) Well Jarius has a great fashion sense (he always wears well fitting clothes and he likes being well groomed-as much as possible) and though he isn't around very many women he loves to show off when he does see one (that is a major weakness about him, he's not a womanizer though he is very much a gentleman, in the strictest sense, and he knows how to treat a lady-in fact the ladies always fall for him and he has an easier time being himself around the ladies, though he is still very guarded around even them). Jarius is very intelligent but since he's seen a lot of war and such he has a hard look in his eyes sometimes finds it hard to be merciful-it's easy for him to hold a grudge when he first meets Zephon but the more he travels with Zephon the more he is able to let go of that personality to find it easier to be merciful.
He is loyal to his father's cause and there have been times that he has gone on missions for his father. His father trusts that he will get them done and there have been times that Jarius has been injured, he isn't just a pretty boy, he has experience in the battle field and scars that fortunately are everywhere else but his face. (he's not the type of person that hides or runs away, also he he may be arrogant but he's not too vain, if he were to get a scar on his face it wouldn't be the end of the world for him.
Ultimately his goal is to settle down and raise a family. Hopefully this helps paint a picture of him.
In regards to the commissions and comic thing, no worries. I hope that I might be able to find somebody who might be able to do it for a reasonable price.
