this is elementalis from the shadow era trading card game.... just with the image reversed. did you draw for that game?

how hard was it getting the idea from ur head to paper/screen?? i'm always trying to draw this sort of abstract stuff and it comes off as too solid/crap

not hard at all... i think it's because i've been drawing my whole life, and i started being really serious about drawing over 10 years ago.. so, it's just lots of practice and familarity with what i'm trying to draw...
