Added 3/9/08These guys are from the Mario Party games. I've never played them myself, but mentioned them to me, so I looked them up. I like them. They're neat looking.
Apparantly, they're known as Koopa Kids or Mini Bowsers. I liked Mini Bowsers better, less confusion with the Koopalings.

For some reason, the word 'clones' comes to mind here. "I'll call 'em...uhhh...Mini-Bs."
All things considered, these guys really are a 3-pack of sawed-off whoop-ass. I like the color contrast between their shells/bands & eyes.

They are pretty "sawed-off," too. About half the size of Bowser, I think?
I was originally just going to color the eyes the same color as the hair, but I decided a little contrast would be better.

You work fast. They look great, and actually intimidating.
Their exact relation to Bowser is a bit of a mystery, sometimes they refer to him as "Dad", which raises some questions. Or maybe he adopted the tykes.
