I don't have regular internet access right now but I did want to post this new work while I had the opportunity. It's a collaboration with one of my good friends, nikkidoodlesx3 & there's a bit of a story behind it.

I started working on this piece last August as a birthday present for my mom (her birthday is Sept. 1) but got stuck on painting over/changing the dress color so I asked Nikki if she wanted to help out & we decided to turn it into a collab. By then, her birthday had passed so instead, it was going to be a Christmas gift. Nikki & I finished it towards the end of October, beginning of November (2013) and I was getting the links together for the stock credits when CATASTROPHE - the stock I had used for the main background had been taken down for copyright infringement.

I was SOOoooo frustrated! It was gorgeous and even though I could still print it for my mom, we weren't going to be able to upload it to our galleries unless we changed the background. I had done a majority of the BG work although Nikki did some work on it as well, and I really, really didn't feel like going through the hassle of changing out the background - I'm a perfectionist so it took me forever to get it right the first time!!

That's when Nikki, being the sweetheart that she is, offered to switch out the background so we could post our collaborative work online....BUT then she got super busy with her last semester of college (congrats, luv - you made it through it!!). This project got put on the back burner and we both kind of forgot about it for a few months

Then we remembered - well, Nikki did, I changed my name to ScatteredbrainedAshe for a reason - and here it is! Hope you enjoy it, we went through a lot of work creating it and then a lot more work so we could show it to you! If you , thank you! If you comment, I promise I'll respond eventually, hopefully I'll have internet at home again soon (and a new premium sub since mine ran out)- if not there's always McDonalds hehe!
