Inner Reflections
Sometimes, you can’t help it. Maybe it’s a certain scent this time of year, all crisp and spiced. Or perhaps it is a familiar sight or sensation, a place you like to visit once a year, that reminds you of your past life. The autumn wind catches you in contemplation, a reminder of how much time has passed. It tugs at your memory now, as if inviting you to step back and remember what life was like before.

It is part of my canon (though hasn't been dug into a whole lot yet) that Mys transformed Irenée but that he's such a miserable piss that they rarely interact. He was a spoiled uppity brat in life and he's a spoiled uppity brat as a spirit and frankly poor shy Mys is a touch afraid of the much larger, often volatile Irenée. But the seasons are changing and he finds himself having an existential crisis. He never felt happy alive, and now he never feels happy dead and he's begun to wonder what the actual point is. So Mys creeps out and attempts to comfort him despite normally going out of her way to avoid him. And even this miserable piss is grateful for the effort. (He is dramatic. So. So. Dramatic.)
