There was Eru, the One, who in Arda is called Ilъvatar; and he made first the Ainur, the Holy Ones, that were the offspring of his thought, and they were with him before aught else was made. And he spoke to them, propounding to them themes of music; and they sang before him, and he was glad.(C)I belive, Eru alwayes love Melkor. Because he created it, he invested most of his soul in Melkor.

Of course he loves Melkor! And Melkor loves him back - that's what the Bible says. The original circle around Lucifer, however, have explained it that God is gay, and Lucifer is actually a lady (of the original type, a tomboy, which was the ideal in the ancient world), so their love is like that of a fan for the star, and vice versa. This is about their creating Self-Love - which the Valar never perceived. So Melkor goes against the Valar who forget Eru in their dealings, the One. The Valar created a Racist mess by pulling away the Elves from where Eru had put them. So when I saw this drawing, I thought you found out who Eru became, in order to "bring the balance back, bring it back" (Led Zeppelin). Melkor is that Balance (Ma'at) and there was someone who wanted very much to bring Melkor back into the world........
